Bhajan Concerts rendered during Navarathri Celebrations

On the occassion of Navarathri celebrations, the Children's Bhajan group and Ladies Bhajana group of Kerala Brahmana Sabha Kozhikode and Orangepada rendered bhajan concerts at various temples in and around Calicut. While the team lead by Smt. Seethalakshmi C S presented their bhajans at the Kannika Parameswari temple, Bhajanakoil temple and Mariamman temple, the Children with youth members presented their bhajans at the Kannika parameswari and Mariamman temples.The team led by Smt. Seethalakshmi C S comprises of the following - Smt. Lakshmi C S, Smt. Geetha V S, Smt. Alamelu, Smt. Jayalakshmi N D, Smt. Jayalakshmi T P, Smt. Mahalakshmi. The children's team comprises of - Mast Sankaranarayanan,  Mast. Vishnu V M , Mast. Karthik Srinivas, Kum. Priyakaveri V V, Kum. Vaishnavi V M, Kum. Pavithra Ganesh, Kum. Seethalakshmi M S, Kum. Rohini V, Kum. Rajalakshmi N V,  Kum. Yuvasree Vaidyanathan and Kum. Meenakshi Venugopal.

As part of upholding our rich tradition and culture, Yuvajana Vibhagam is propagating the learning of bhajans amongst children and youth and have successfully formed 3 bhajan groups for children under 15, under 18 and for youth members respectively. Learning centre is set up at the residence of Smt. Seethalakshmi C S (fondly called as Teacher) in Tali. This is a non paid initiative and the wing congratulates and express their unending gratitude and thanks to our Teacher Smt.Seethalakshmi C S in this regard. Sri. Ram Kumar K B (Yuvajana Vibhagam District President and Past State Secretary) and Sri. Arun Kumar A S (Past District President and Past State Treasurer) were amongst the teams that rendered bhajans during this Navarathri festival and all groups are rendering bhajans at various places without taking any payment for the same. This is part of representing and upholding the brahmin culture from the Yuvajana Vibhagam of Kozhikode and it continues successfully into its 5th month.
