Kum. Kavitha achieves 1st Place in Powerlifting

Kum. Kavitha G, daughter of Smt. Vijayalakshmi and Sri. Gopalakrishnan, residing at Azchavattom obtained the First place in the Senior State Powerlifting championship held at Alappuzha in August 2012. She achieved this feat in the Unequipped category and also registered the Third place in the Equipped category. Kum. Kavitha is currently pursuing her Final year BSc in Mathematics at Devagiri college, Kozhikode. She is representing Kerala State at the National Senior Powerlifting championship to be held at Kozhikode on the dates of 2012 September 3rd to September 8th in the same categories. Kum. Kavitha is also the District Joint Secretary of Kerala Brahmana Sabha Kozhikode Yuvajana Vibhagam. Kozhikode Kerala Brahmana Sabha congratulates her on the success wish her the very best in the upcoming championships.
